Sierra yarn col. Leaf 100 g / 3.5 oz
Crochet hook n° 9 EU / M-13 US
METHOD
It’s done on a number of foundation chains in multiples of 6 + 2.
Row 1: chain 3 , skip 4 chains starting from the hook, *double crochet 3 cross stitched left (skip 1 chain, double crochet 1 in each of the following 2 chains, take the 2 stitches just done from the front and fold them back as to not wrap them, double stitch 1 in the previously skipped chain ), double crochet 3 cross stitched right (skip 2 chains, double crochet 1 in the following chain, take the 2 stitches just done from the back and fold them in front as to not wrap them, double crochet 1 in each of the 2 skipped chains)*, always repeat from* to * for the entire row and bind off with 1 double crochet in the last chain
row 2: chain 3, *double crochet 1 on each of the 2 following stitches, double crochet 1 behind in relief around each of the 2 following stitches, double crochet 1 on each of the 2 following stitches*, always repeat from* to * for the entire row and bind off with 1 double crochet on the first stitch of the previous round
row 3: chain 3, *double crochet 3 cross stitched right with the relief stitch in front (skip 2 stitches, double crochet 1 in relief in front around the following stitch, take the stitch just done from the back and fold it in front as to not wrap it, crochet 1 in each of the 2 skipped stitches), double crochet 3 cross stitched left with the relief stitch in front (skip a stitch, crochet 1 in each of the 2 following stitches, take the 2 stitches just done from the front and fold them back as to not wrap them, double crochet 1 in relief in front around the skipped stitch)*, always repeat from* to * for the entire row and bind off with 1 double crochet on the first stitch of the previous round
row 4: chain 3, *double crochet 1 in relief in front around the following stitch, double crochet 1 on each of the following 4 stitches, double crochet 1 in relief behind around the following point*, always repeat from* to * for the entire row and bind off with 1 double crochet on the first stitch of the previous round
row 5: chain 3, *double crochet 3 cross stitched left with the relief stitch in front, double crochet 3 cross stitched right with the relief stitch in front*, always repeat from* to * for the entire row and bind off with 1 double crochet on the first stitch of the previous round
row 6: repeat from row 2.
Begin with the stitch that precedes the first *, repeat from * to * for the entire row and bind off with the stitch that follows the second *.
