styrofoam ball, 12cm diameter

knife and scissors

METHOD

Cut your fabric into strips. You’ll need a few, depending on the size of your styrofoam ball.

Use a model to determine the size of your single hydrangea flower and fold the strip over upon itself accordingly.

Cut the styrofoam ball in two halves, you’ll need one per single hydrangea. Smooth the edges with a knife or cutter.

Start pinning your single flowers onto the styrofoam. Work on the bottom as well.

Insert the gardening stick into the base of the styrofoam and cut the stem according to your desidered length.

Here’s your finished hydrangea! Our styrofoam ball measured 12cm in diameter and we used a total of 130 single flowers to cover it completely.
