How to knit an oversized openwork cardigan

Today’s article features the pattern for an oversized cardigan. Without buttons, comfortable, soft and very warm thanks to the yarn chosen to make it: Sierra.

Noteworthy details are the dropped shoulder, the wide sleeves, and the openwork stitch that resembles a vertically stretched net.

The colour of this cardigan is Amber but you can find other equally exquisite variations on the store.

How to finish the oversized cardigan

Row 1: 1 selvage, knit 3, repeat (purl 2, knit 2) until the last 6 stitches, purl 2, knit 3, 1 selvage

Sew the sleeves along the respective armholes: for the armhole calculate 17 cm / 6.7" before and after the shoulder seam. Sew the underarms, then the sides for 39 cm / 15.4", leaving the ribbed edges unstitched: the back is longer than the front 2 cm / 0.8".
