Description
Marni is a yarn that was created from the combination of our
Piuma yarn and skilful twisting work. It is a yarn that is made up of the
quality of our extra fine merino wool and the guarantee given by our certifications and it combines them with a nice dose of imagination.
A yarn that aspires to be a "NICHE MARKET" style because it is so
unique, different and even a little irreverent.

Techniques
Marni can be worked with large knitting needles and crochet hooks. Thanks to its elasticity, it maintains its shape even when using larger needles or hooks. It's also great for weaving and macramé projects.
Tips
With knitting needles: it looks beautiful in stockinette stitch and other fabric-inspired patterns.
With a crochet hook: it’s perfect for all kinds of stitches because the yarn is very compact and easy to handle.
On the loom: we used a rigid heddle loom with a 20:10 reed (2 ends/cm). Marni is fairly elastic but very easy to weave. Thanks to its unique structure, even a simple project turns into something eye-catching and richly decorative—almost like a Chanel-style tweed! It has a dry yet pleasant hand. Perfect for outerwear, bags, clutches, and any project that calls for a structured yarn.
