Piuma but suitable for all seasons, also suitable for home decor pieces and easy to maintain.
This is how a
soft,
super bulky,
minimalistic yarn was born. Coated in
cotton, it is
easy to wash and very pleasant to the touch.
Techniques
The cotton yarn Cozy is worked with very thick knitting needles and crochet hooks, from size 10 EU /15 US and up. It is also suitable for weaving and embroidery projects.
Perfect for making blankets, rugs, cushions, and baskets. But not only these! Try it for oversized bags, clothing and jewellery.
Tips
With knitting needles: it is suitable for stockinette stitch and other smooth and less complex patterns.
With crochet hooks: single crochet is needed to obtain a very compact result. To lighten it, you can work by taking only the half stitch underneath or by entering the crochet hook into only one of the two rings that form the upper part of the stitch.
On the loom: we wove this yarn on a rigid heddle loom with a 20:10 reed (2 ends/cm). Although not designed specifically for weaving, it performs well and the result is pleasing. When used as weft, the yarn must be properly joined at changes, though it remains difficult to conceal the transitions. The final fabric is dense, clean, and voluminous—ideal for bags, baskets, and other container-type accessories.
