What is REHAB?

REHAB is a great area where you can find textile products that deserve a second life. Fabrics, yarns, fibres, and felt that come from warehouse or end-of-production remnants. All very interesting products and of quality that are worthy of a second chance.
With REHAB, landfill waste is reduced, and the circular economy becomes a viable strategy, within everyone's reach. Because sustainability comes from daily choices, and choosing REHAB products means generating value from existing products and therefore actively participating on the environmental issue.
Here in Prato, among other things, the art of recycling is part of our DNA as was so long before the rest of the world decided that recycling was fashionable. Well before newspapers from the industry were filled with words like upcycling. Regenerated wool has been produced in our district for over two centuries, so much so that it is also called Prato wool. REHAB therefore talks about our textile tradition and our territory. All the products you find here are small gems selected with passion, sometimes truly unique pieces, which will give your projects that extra touch and your environmental awareness a nice pat on the back.

FIBRES

In this section, you will find fibres of both animal and plant origin. Tops or carded. Assorted mixes of fibres from our production that save you money without sacrificing quality. Perfect for felting, weaving, and hand spinning.

YARNS

In this section, you will find yarns that come from our district's twisting factories and wool mills and our own production. They are mostly the result of end-of-series collections or yarns created as a study but then not included in the collection. Ideal for knitting, crocheting, and hand weaving. Once finished they will not be restocked as they are out of production.

RIBBONS

In this section, you will find ribbons, or products similar to ribbons such as selvedge, both of animal and plant origin. They often come from fabric processing waste, warehouse stock, or beautiful but discontinued collections. In each case, these are considered high-end products.

FELT

In this section, you will find assorted offcuts of industrial felt that come from warehouse remnants or from the cuts to which the felt is used for packaging by the meter or even from special productions.

PREFELT

In this section, you will find assorted prefelt offcuts that come from warehouse remnants, production tests, special collections or from the cuts to which the prefelt is used for packaging by the metre. These packs save you money without sacrificing quality and are perfect for felting.

FABRICS

In this section, you will find a beautiful selection of fabrics made in the wool mills of Prato. Archival and vintage. These fabrics are warehouse stock or end-of-series. Here you will also find offcuts of silk and wool fabric coming from the cuts in which the fabrics are used for packaging by the metre.
