INSTRUCTIONS
The garment is entirely worked with 6 strands held together, 2 of each of the 3 colors indicated. It is worked flat and is made of 2 pieces, the back and the front. The borders are made with crochet after closing the shoulders.

With knitting needles n° 7 EU / 10½ US and 6 strands held together (2 of each of the 3 colors), cast on 63 (67, 71) stitches using the tubular cast-on technique and work 2 rows in tubular stitch. Continue in stockinette stitch for 82 (84, 88) rows: you will reach row 84 (86, 90), measuring 59 (61, 63) cm / 23.2" (24", 24.8").
Row 85 (87, 91): knit the first 20 (22, 23) stitches, bind off the following 23 (23, 25) stitches for the neckline, knit the last 20 (22, 23) stitches
row 86 (88, 92): purl the 20 (22, 23) stitches of the second side. Now continue only on this second side, leaving the stitches of the first side on a stitch holder
row 87 (89, 93): decrease 1 stitch for the neckline by working a slip, knit, pass slipped stitch over (SKP) on the first 2 stitches, continue in knit to end of row
row 88 (90, 94): purl
rows 89 and 90 (91 and 92, 95 and 96): repeat rows 87 and 88 (89 and 90, 93 and 94).
Bind off.
Resume working on the stitches of the first side and work as for the second side but mirrored.

Work the front as explained for the back.

Make two pockets on the front. For the first pocket, with knitting needles n° 7 EU / 10½ US and 6 strands held together (2 of each of the 3 colors), on the right side of the work, starting from the right side edge, count the first 13 (14, 14) stitches on row 5 (5, 7) worked in stockinette stitch after the tubular bottom border, then pick up the following 13 (14, 15) stitches. On these stitches work 16 (16, 18) rows in stockinette stitch, measuring approximately 12 (12, 13) cm / 4.7" (4.7", 5.1"), then bind off. For the second pocket, with knitting needles n° 7 EU / 10½ US and 6 strands held together (2 of each of the 3 colors), on the right side of the work, on the same row 5 (5, 7) worked in stockinette stitch after the tubular bottom border, skip the 11 (11, 13) stitches after the first pocket, then pick up the following 13 (14, 15) stitches. Work as explained for the first pocket, then bind off. Sew the sides of each pocket with an invisible seam. Sew the shoulders. Finish the neckline and the side edges of back and front with 1 row of crab stitch worked with crochet hook n° 7 EU / K-10½ US and 6 strands held together (2 of each of the 3 colors). Make 4 tubular i-cords for the side ties. For each tubular i-cord, with double-pointed needles n° 7 EU / 10½ US and 6 strands held together (2 of each of the 3 colors), cast on 3 stitches, repeat (slide the 3 stitches to the opposite end of the needle so that the working yarn—the one coming from the ball—is at the end of the stitches to be worked in the new row, which will always be on the right side of the work, then knit the 3 stitches, slightly tightening the first one) until the cord measures approximately 40 cm / 16", then bind off. Sew the first 2 cords to the right side edge of back and front, 30 cm / 11.8" from the bottom. Sew the other 2 cords at the same height on the left side edge of back and front. Tie the cords into bows.
