Continue by knitting 5 garter stitches (these will be the edge of the cardigan) Using the Honey coloured yarn and 27 stitches following the same line on the back.

At row 42 you begin the neckline.

Rows 42, 48, 54, 60, 66, 72, 78: after the edge in garter stitch, drop a stitch.

From row 84 only knit the edge in garter stitch for another 16 rows and bind off the other stitches.

How to knit the sleeves of the cardigan with geometric motifs

Using the Honey coloured yarn cast on 28 stitches with needles n° 8 EU / 11 US and rib stitch 1 x 1 for 7 rows.

Continue knitting with needles n° 10 EU / 15 US.

Work the lining like the back but increase one stitch on each side every 4 rows (rows 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52) up to row 55 and then bind off.

Sew the shoulders, to do this first start with the sewing of the two edges together in garter stitch and then move on to the neckline behind. Sew the sleeves to the round from marker to marker and finish sewing the stitch.

We have now completed the knitted cardigan with geometric motifs. You can certainly utilise it on more than one occasion. If you liked this pattern, then you might also find it interesting the Tutorial for the creation of a chunky knitted scarf.
