If you’re looking for a knit stitch that adds texture and guarantees chunkiness then you’ve come to the right blog! As a matter of fact, today we’re going to learn how to knit the embossed check stitch. Ideal for making a sweater that keeps you warm even in the freezing cold. The yarn we’ve chosen for the embossed check stitch is Cyrcus in the colour Tenderness. This yarn is in baby alpaca and merino wool with specks of contrasting colours making it really unique. In the collection there are as many as 14 different colours.
It’s done on a number of stitches in multiples of 6+3.
Row 1 and 7: *knit 3 and purl 3*, always repeat from * to *, knit 3 to finish off
row 2 and 8: purl 3, * knit 3 and purl 3*, always repeat from * to *

row 4 and 6: purl 3, *slip 3 purlwise TO and purl 3*, always repeat from * to *
row 9: repeat from the first row.
