As promised here are all the patterns to make the cute little felt animals made for DHG by Manusa for Christmas 2017.

The technique that is used is of course the classic one that Simona Girelli helped us develop back in 2014. The material is our thermoformable felt 3 mm.
Here come the patterns.
The first 3 felt animals that we are sharing with you are part of the nativity scene as per the Christian tradition. After all, what’s a nativity without an ox, a donkey and sheep?? Just because it’s traditional doesn’t mean it can’t be contemporary and minimal, right?

Instead for those of you who would rather go for the Scandi style Christmas, check out these patterns of the absoulute Christmas classics… the bear and the reindeer!

All the patterns make up the main part of the animal and the additional extras (such as horns or tails) which are to be placed in the corresponding cut marks.
There are also the holes to pass the yarn through to be able to close it up and create a base so they can stand up.

Once the animals are finished, all that’s left to do is “cook them” following the times and temperatures recommended in the video tutorial.

Simple but effective. You won’t be able to stop yourself from making more and more, either to fill up house up with or as perfect presents for friends and relatives. Enjoy!
