The crochet stitch we are going to learn today is the woven stitch. It has been named this because the double crochets interweave together forming a pattern that reminds us of the classic mesh bags popular in summer months. This stitch is also nice if turned inside out.
Another interesting point is that, to obtain a design with larger mesh holes, you can opt to carry out triple crochets instead of doubles.
The yarn used for this stitch is Lincoln, here in the wonderful colour of very Fire. On the store you will find many more colours to choose from, each one more beautiful than the next.

METHOD
This stitch is based on several chains in multiples of di 4 + 3. It is not reversible.
The gauge in the photo has a base of 27 chains (6 patterns) and 15 rows.
In 10 cm / 4" there are 17 stitches and 10 rows.
Row, right side: skip 1 chain, 1 single crochet in each chain, turn over the project
row 2, wrong side: chain 3 (they count as 1 stitch), * skip 2 stitches, 2 double crochets in the 2 stitches skipped previously*, repeat from * to * until the penultimate stitch, 1 double crochet in the last stitch, turn over the project.
To crochet the 2 cross stitches: crochet the first stitch, but inserting the hook in the first skipped stitch, lengthen the loop until it crosses the 2 double crochets already crocheted and complete the double crochet normally. Crochet the second double crochet by inserting the hook in the second skipped stitch.
There is an alternative for this stitch: crochet with triple crochets instead of doubles, in this case row 2 starts with 4 chains and ends with 1 triple crochet.
Row 3: chain 1, 1 single crochet in each stitch in the previous row, turn over the project.
Repeat rows 2 and 3.
