KNIT STITCHES USED
Garter:
knit all the rows.
Rib 1x1:
knit 1 and purl 1, in the next row knit 1 on the knitted stitch and purl 1 on the purled stitch
Fisherman’s rib:
row 1: knit 1 and purl 1
row 2: purl all the stitches as they appear and double the knit stitches.
What is the double stitch? a knitted stitch where instead of inserting the needle in the loop on the left needle, it’s inserted in the stitch UNDER that loop. Or rather, in the corresponding stitch worked in the previous row. By doing this you don’t lose the stitch on the left needle, but simply the 2 stitches (the bottom one and the top one) are worked together.
Repeat always from row 2.
