Here we are with a new free pattern just
for you. The yarn chosen today is our Cozy. With a pure cotton coating, it is
essentially the twin of the now iconic Piuma. It's super bulky, soft and knits
really well. Perfect for garments, and it’s at its best when making bags,
textile jewellery or cushion covers!
With Cozy we thought up a large voluminous
square jumper. Slightly cropped and with a generous neckline.
The colour we chose for this jumper is Bougainvillea,
but you can find many other beautiful colours on the store.
Let’s get knitting!

PROCEDURE
The jumper is worked flat and is made up of 2 pieces: the back with sleeves, and the front with sleeves. The neck and sleeve edges are worked later.

Cast on 47 (51) stitches with knitting needles n° 10 EU / 15 US.
Row 1: knit 1 stitch, repeat (purl 1, knit 1) until the end of the row
row 2: purl 1 stitch, repeat (knit 1, purl 1) until the end of the row.
Rows 1 and 2 set the 1/1 ribbed edge, repeat them 1 more time, arriving at row 4. Continue with stockinette stitch for 30 (32) rows: arriving at row 34 (36), equal to 34 (36) cm / 13.4" (14.2").
The process continues separately for the 2 sizes.
Size S/M
Row 35: bind off 3 stitches, continue with stockinette stitch over the remaining stitches, turn over
row 36: bind off 3 stitches, continue with stockinette stitch on the remaining stitches, turn over.
For rows 35 and 36 set the decreases on the right on the right and on the left on the purl to shape the shoulders, repeat them 4 more times: you arrive at row 44, equal to 44 cm / 17.3", with 17 stitches on the needle.
Size L
Row 37: bind off 4 stitches, continue with stockinette stitch over the remaining stitches, turn over
row 38: bind off 4 stitches, continue with stockinette stitch over the remaining stitches, turn over
row 39: bind off 3 stitches, continue with stockinette stitch on the remaining stitches, turn over
row 40: bind off 3 stitches, continue with stockinette stitch on the remaining stitches, turn over.
For rows 39 and 40 set the decreases of 3 stitches to the right on the right and to the left on the purl to shape the shoulders, repeat them 3 more times: you arrive at row 46, equal to 46 cm / 18.1", with 19 stitches on the needle.
The process continues simultaneously for the 2 sizes.
Row 45 (47): work the first 6 stitches, bind off the next 5 (7) stitches, work the last 6 stitches, turn over
row 46 (48): work the 6 stitches on this side, leaving the other stitches hanging on a safety pin, turn over
row 47 (49): decrease 2 stitches by knitting the first 3 stitches together, continue on the remaining stitches, turn over
row 48 (50): work the stitches, turn over
row 49 (51): work as row 45 (47)
row 50 (52): work as row 46 (48).
Bind off.
Continue working on 6 stitches hanging and work like the first side, but mirrored: for the decreases, work 1 double stitch over at the beginning of the rows on the wrong side.

Work as done so for back and sleeves.
Sew shoulders and the top of one sleeve for 15 (16) cm / 5.9" (6.3"). For the neck, pick up the stitches along the front and back necklines using knitting needle size 10 EU / 15 US: the total number of stitches must be even. Work 12 rows in 1/1 rib, then bind off the piece. Sew the other shoulder and the top of the other sleeve for 15 (16) cm / 5.9" (6.3"), then sew the neck. For the sleeve edge, use needle size 10 EU / 15 US to pick up the stitches along the 22 (24) cm / 8.7" (9.4") before and after the shoulder/sleeve seam: the total number of stitches must be even. Work 6 rows in 1/1 rib, then bind off the piece. Sew the edges of the sleeves and the sides.

For the edge of the front and the neck, starting from the lower corner of the right front, with knitting needles n° 4 EU / 6 US pick up the stitches evenly along the right front, the right sleeve, the back neckline, the sleeve left and left front: the total number of stitches must be odd.
Row 1: knit 1, repeat (purl 1, knit 1) until the end of the row
row 2: purl 1, repeat (knit 1, purl 1) until the end of the row.
Rows 1 and 2 set the 1/1 rib edge, repeat them 4 more times, arriving at row 10. Bind off the work.

Sew the underarms and sides.
