This carded wool blend is made with 70% maori wool and 30% Bergschaf wool. Composition: 100% wool Micron: about 29 microns. The packages have a weight tolerance of +/- 3%.
These types of carded wool go through several phases of production. They range from carbonization to washing, dyeing and carding. However, it is not possible to completely eliminate the plant impurities, which should be considered as an intrinsic characteristic and not a qualitative defect of the product.

Since colours can vary depending on your device’s monitor settings, we recommend buying our Colour Chart so that you can check the colours with you own eyes before proceeding with the final order. Do you want to check the quality of the material? Buy our Sample Box.
ATTENTION: all our colours tend to have a high fastness against light and washing. That being said, tha dark and shiny colours, in the presence of alkaline or very aggressive soaps and prolonged processing / washing, can show a significant colour loss. Thus, for any materials dyed with these types of colours we recommend that you carry out a processing and washing test using a small sample before you proceed working on your final project. The above mentioned testing is positively essential if these materials are to be combined with raw or light coloured materials. It is also good practice to never dry the materials in direct sunlight, instead be sure to use low lighting.
