row 2: 3 chains (this counts as 1 double crochet), skip the space between the first and second double crochets, repeat: (1 double crochet, 3 chains, and 1 double crochet all worked into the space between the next 2 double crochets), skip the space between the next 2 double crochets, 1 double crochet in the space between the next 2 double crochets, and repeat until the end of the row, working the last double crochet into the last stitch (not into the space between the last two stitches). Turn the work. You’ll have 27 V-shaped motifs separated by 26 double crochets, plus 1 double crochet at the beginning and end of the row
row 3: 1 chain (this counts as 1 single crochet), repeat: (7 double crochets in the 3 chain arch of the following V-shaped motif, 1 single crochet in the next double crochet), repeat to the end of the row. Do not cut the yarn.
For the first tie, chain until the desired length of about 36 cm / 14.2". Secure the yarn with a knot and cut it, leaving a small tail.
For the second tie, join the Ghost yarn to the opposite side using crochet hook n° 3 EU / D-3 US and work as for the first tie.

Turn the work. You’ll have 17 V-shaped motifs separated by 16 double crochets, plus 1 double crochet at the beginning and end of the row
row 3: 1 chain (this counts as 1 single crochet), repeat: (7 double crochets in the 3 chain arch of the following V-shaped motif, 1 single crochet in the next double crochet), repeat to the end of the row. Do not cut the yarn.
For the first tie, chain until the desired length of about 28 cm / 11". Secure the yarn with a knot and cut it, leaving a small tail.
